Unlike systemic hormone therapy, pills, or patches, it works at the source and specifically on GSM symptoms.

Lubricants and vaginal moisturizers work differently from vaginal estrogen. While lubricants and moisturizers provide comfort by adding moisture or lubrication, they don’t change the vaginal tissue itself. Vaginal estrogen, on the other hand, activates receptors in the vagina to restore the tissue's natural structure. Since the root cause of GSM (Genitourinary Syndrome of Menopause) is a decrease in estrogen, vaginal estrogen treatments are the most effective solution.
